Larry Stedman
Larry Stedman is Associate Professor of Education at SUNY-Binghamton (at http://sehd.binghamton.edu/facstaff/stedman.htm) where he researches the condition of U.S. achievement and its implications for school reform (see, for example, http://epaa.asu.edu/epaa/v4n1.html).

After hours, you can find him star gazing using his trusty Sony CLIE to locate objects and log observations (see reports at http://www.geocities.com/smalldob/observing_report_title_page.htm) or, in complete darkness, reading classic historical adventure novels in a soothing deep blue text on black background (thanks to Khroma on the CLIE).
